5D4N Mulu Pinnacles & Show Caves
Overview
This 5D4N adventure in Mulu National Park combines the park’s key highlights with the Mulu Pinnacles hike, one of the most distinctive and challenging experiences in Malaysia. The journey takes you through major cave systems including Deer Cave, Lang Cave, Wind Cave, and Clearwater Cave, before continuing by longboat and on foot through the rainforest to Camp 5.
From here, you will take on the climb to the Mulu Pinnacles. The route is steep and physically demanding, with sections that require the use of ropes and ladders. Reaching the viewpoint offers a striking reward, with sharp limestone formations rising above the surrounding forest.
Along the way, you will also experience river travel, rainforest trekking, and the well-known bat exodus at Deer Cave. This itinerary brings together Mulu’s caves, rainforest, and a rewarding physical challenge in a single journey suited for active travellers.
